Accommodations

Scimitar's teak interior is open, airy and spacious. The cabin sole is teak and holly throughout. The main salon, with navy upholstery cushions replaced in 2015, will comfortably sleep crew on both sides. Her large centerline drop-leaf table accommodates guests for dinner and folds away for access forward. An enclosed double quarter berth to port includes a vanity with sink and a hanging locker. The nav station is to port forward of the aft cabin and provides room for a chart table and electronics. Bookshelves surround the salon. A wine cabinet forward of the starboard settee features a leaded glass window. The head is forward and to port; its white and teak trim makes for a bright look. The commodious V-berth is designed with a hanging locker, open shelving and a large overhead hatch.
