1991 Carver 3608 Aft Cabin Motor Yacht
The Carver 36 Aft Cabin MY (3608) is a beamy double-cabin family cruiser with a surprisingly spacious interior. This is a much more open boat than Carver?s earlier 36 Aft Cabin model thanks primarily to a wider beam and greater freeboard. She?s built on a fairly deep-V hull which accounts for her soft and comfortable ride in rough seas. Like all of Carvers recent motor yacht designs, the hullsides are cored with balsa and the bottom is solid fiberglass. Inside, Carver engineers managed to pack double berths into both staterooms as well as provide two head compartments, a big U shaped dinette and reasonably spacious main salon dimensions. The aft deck is quite spacious compared with those of similar models in this size range and the starboard side helm console on the flybridge allows plenty of guest seating.
