Description
This 61’ vessel is a model 610 Pilothouse Motor Yacht built by Alexander Marine in
2002. The yacht has been captain maintained and is in great condition in both the interior and exterior.
This vessels layout includes a forward and moving aft, is the chain locker followed below by the forward guest cabin with a center Queen berth, lockers, and starboard head access with stall shower. To port is a second guest cabin with a Queen berth. Down and aft is the master cabin with king size berth, vanity, lockers, closet, entertainment center, and ensuite head with stall shower. There is a laundry room work shop in a passageway aft to the engine room. Up starboard steps is the pilothouse with helm console forward with all necessary engine controls and instruments. Aft, to port, is a settee with table and to starboard is the galley. To port are stairs up to the flybridge and down to the salon. In the salon there is an entertainment center and easy chair to port and to starboard is a large l-shaped settee, table, cabinet, and easy chair. Out and down is the cockpit with tackle locker, starboard engine control station, transom door, shower fixture, barbecue grill, and fresh and salt water wash downs. The engines are below the salon sole with access via a cockpit entry door. The flybridge and boat deck are above the wheelhouse and salon. The flybridge console is forward with all necessary engine controls and instruments and is weather protected by a fiberglass hardtop. Aft is seating, to starboard, and to port there is a wet bar and ice maker. The boat deck follows with dinghy launch, hydraulic boat davit, and a companionway ladder down to the cockpit.
The vessel is powered by twin 3406 caterpillar diesel engines which are 6 cylinder, fresh water cooled, turbocharged, and produce 800 horsepower each. The generator is a northern lights and produces 20 kw of ac electrical power and is under a sound shield. The engines and generator are very well kept. The exhausts are wet and the surrounding areas are protected.
The 12/24 vdc is supplied by battery source and the 120/240 vac is obtained from shore power connection, magnum 2.8 kw inverter, and the 20 kw generator. The wiring, where accessible, appears good and is neatly loomed and well supported. The electrical systems are branch overload protected by fuses and circuit breakers and the panels are well labeled to identify functions.
