The X-65 is designed to suit a wide range of demands. Will you opt for the self-tacking jib or the 108% genoa? Should you choose a fixed or removable Kevlar inner forestay? Will you raise the sprayhood from its recessed storage space to deflect the wind or extend one of the biminis to keep the sun off the cockpit or helm?
You may be sailing fully crewed or want a boat that is a pleasure to sail shorthanded. Whatever your needs there are options to suit your sailing. The X-65 has been designed and engineered in co-operation with some of the world’s most respected suppliers. Discontinuous rod rigging, with a hydraulic backstay, supports a three-spreader, tapered carbon mast with a ‘Park Avenue’ wing boom. The option of a carbon fibre powered furling boom is also offered.
