This motor vessel is a custom design of all welded aluminum construction, built in Ontario by Orillia Steel Works, Inc. in 1983 at a cost of $250,000. Originally used by the Ontario Government as a survey vessel. Shell thickness varies from 3/16” on sides and transom to ¼” on bottom amidships, to 5/16” on the bottom, fore and aft. The hull has a single “hard” chine, raked stem with a raised bow section sloping down midships and a flat run to the stern. It has a large deckhouse with a forward wheelhouse and an open deck aft. This vessel has always been in fresh water.
Could be great as a liveaboard.

A marine head is plumbed to a 30 gallon poly holding tank (and a back up tank). There is a hot and cold pressure water system. Through-hulls are located in the engine room.
New dry mufflers are recommended
The vessel has three voltage systems: 12, 24 and 110. The house batteries were new in 2020. There are two "Charles" battery chargers. Each about 30 amps, one for the 12V system, the other to serve the 24V system.
A 24V battery bank is used to power one of the three bilge pumps.
Two 12V batteries are used for starting the engines The 12V breaker panel, located in the wheelhouse, supplies power to the vessel’s accessories.
The old 220V service should probably be removed.
There are two 18HP Izuzu diesel engines Model QD-27. These are set up to drive the Leroy Somer 10KW ATR alternators. One needs servicing.
Wiring will need some attention.
Two 12V bilge pumps and one 24V bilge pump are fitted to handle water intrusion,
There is an emergency hatch which connects the deckhouse to the engine room.
Ground tackle includes a 40lb “Danforth” style with about 100 feet of half inch nylon rode and a short length of galvanized chain. The windlass is not working.
