INEVITABLE is a stunning classic Jack Hargrave-designed Burger that has been continually maintained and upgraded over time by conscientious owners and a professional crew. Accommodation for up to 8 guests is found in 3 beautifully appointed ensuite staterooms surrounded by her traditionally furnished Patrick Knowles-designed interior which was installed new in 2005. Presented in top condition and fresh out of refit which included new paint, new teak decks, and major system overhauls, she needs nothing beyond a new owner’s personal touches to enjoy immediate use.
Nearly every system, finish, and feature has been either upgraded or improved aboard INEVITABLE during the last 10 years. Paint, decks, a completely new head system, and a new Atlas Power converter were just done as a follow-up to recent new Caterpillar engines, generators, zero-speed stabilizers, galley appliances and swim platform extension. No expense has spared to ensure INEVITABLE’s impeccable condition.

Broker Remarks
INEVITABLE represents a rare opportunity to purchase a fully refit iconically classic yacht with updated systems that’s truly ready to go. She was purchased and refit by her current owner with the intent to do some serious world cruising. Due to a change in plans, she now sits ready for someone else to take advantage of her superb condition. She boasts a 2200nm range cruising at 10kts, however the last two owners have cruised her at 14kts burning just 38 GPH with both mains and one generator running giving a range of about 1750nm.
She was originally commissioned as GRINDSTONE at 105’, with later names being ARDE, SILVER CLOUD, ELOUISE, TWILIGHT and finally INEVITABLE. In 2001 she had an 11’ 8” extension added and then a small swim platform extension again in 2015 bringing her length to 118’.
All photographs were taken 4/2022 and is representative of the yacht at that time.
Exclusions
